  • Hi! I’m Michelle, a registered Social Worker in Russell, Ontario, who is passionate about walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate life’s complexities. I offer counselling that is trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, compassionate, and tailored to you.

My practice is grounded in deep respect for each person’s unique story. I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, including late-diagnosed individuals, and supporting families navigating new or evolving diagnoses. I also provide guidance through family conflict, attachment-related challenges, and experiences involving child welfare.

I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). This eclectic approach allows me to create individualized care plans that truly reflect your needs, strengths, and goals.

My work is built on a foundation of trauma-informed care, always considering how past experiences may shape the present. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your family, I strive to offer a space that feels safe, validating, and empowering.

  • When I’m not in the therapy room, or working my full-time job (because I haven’t yet mastered the art of sitting still), you’ll likely find me wearing my most important title: hockey mom. With three active kids, much of my free time is spent cheering from the stands, navigating arenas across Eastern Ontario, and serving as a full-time chauffeur with part-time snack delivery duties.

At home, life is equally busy thanks to our two husky dogs, who ensure there’s never a quiet moment (or a completely fur-free outfit). As a family, we love spending time camping, slowing down, and enjoying the simple things that come with being outdoors.

I also have a tendency to stay a little hyper-focused on all things neurodiversity. Whether it’s reading the latest research, listening to podcasts, exploring lived experiences, or falling down a rabbit hole about the newest findings in ADHD and Autism, it’s a topic that genuinely fascinates me both professionally and personally.

At the heart of it all, I value connection, authenticity, laughter, and creating spaces where people feel accepted exactly as they are. Those same values are what I strive to bring into my work every day at Harmony Haven.

  • Hi! I’m Jonayca. I’m a Registered Social Worker with 8 years of experience walking alongside children, youth, families, and individuals through life’s many twists and turns. I take pride in offering genuine, compassionate support—walking hand in hand with you (or your family) as you tap into your resilience, navigate challenges, and embrace healing at your own pace.

My approach is collaborative and client-centered. Together, we’ll explore insights, build coping strategies, and create meaningful change that fits your unique journey. Whether you’re hoping to strengthen relationships, manage anxiety or stress, or simply understand yourself better, I aim to make therapy a space where growth feels possible, personal, and empowering.

My practice is deeply rooted in respect for your experiences, identity, and values. I have had the privilege of working with diverse communities, including First Nations, Inuit, and Métis (FNIM) individuals and families, as well as members of the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent community. These experiences have grounded my practice in cultural humility, inclusivity, and a deep appreciation for the ways identity, culture, and community shape our healing journeys.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy, while fostering a safe and nurturing environment for exploration and self-discovery. Together, we’ll transform challenges into opportunities for growth, strengthen your sense of resilience, and help you move toward a life that feels more balanced, grounded, and fulfilling.

Therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, deeply understood, and supported. My goal is to create a space that honours your story, validates your experiences, and celebrates your progress—without judgment, pressure, or pretense. Above all, I want you to leave each session feeling lighter, more hopeful, and connected to the strength that’s already within you.

  • Outside of the therapy room, you’ll usually find me at Pilates (trying to convince myself the shaking means it’s working), exploring a hiking trail, planning my next adventure, or making another trip back to Toronto to spend time with family.

Originally from Toronto, I moved to Ottawa for university and somehow blinked and realized I’ve been building a life here since 2015. While Ottawa has become home, a big piece of my heart still belongs in Toronto, and I still jump at any excuse to head back and spend time with the people who know me best.

As the only girl among three siblings, I learned pretty early on how to hold my own, but nothing has stretched my heart quite like becoming a mom in March 2025. These days, life looks a little different, fuelled by coffee, cuddles, and learning to appreciate the magic hidden within everyday moments.

I’ve always been someone who feels most alive when exploring new places, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures. Whether it’s a spontaneous road trip, wandering through a city without much of a plan, or discovering a hidden gem while travelling, I love collecting stories and memories along the way. I’ve been fortunate to explore parts of Asia, Europe, the Caribbean, and North America, and I’m always dreaming about wherever comes next.

When I’m not planning my next getaway, you’ll likely find me curled up with a good book, catching up with friends, or spending time in my community. Meaningful conversations, shared laughter, and feeling connected to others are what fill my cup and keep me grounded, and I carry that same appreciation for human connection into the work I do each day.

  • Salut! I’m Michelle. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying) and a proud franco-ontarian.

I offer therapy to children, teens and families using an eclectic array of tools and approaches which draw from Attachment Focused Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy and Play Therapy with somatic and feminist approaches. I work collaboratively with clients to uncover your own knowledge, strengths and direction. My aim is always to empower and allow for you to direct your own healing, as you are the expert in your lived experience.

I believe in the complexity of our humanity. I believe that there is more to ourselves than we even know. When asked about my approach to therapy, my answer is simple: I walk the forest. A forest is ever changing, growing, decaying and flowering. It is unknowable, no matter how many times you walk it. A forest fire can fundamentally change and scar a part of the forest and yet, there will still be beauty, resilience and wonder to discover. Forests are wild and full of gifts, if you only know where to look. We are forests, and my job is to walk with you.

  • Hi, I'm Kaity (she/her/elle), a registered social worker and psychotherapist. I believe meaningful healing and personal growth begin when people feel truly seen, heard, and accepted for who they are. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences and move towards meaningful change.

Through my work across diverse mental health and social service settings, I have developed a broad range of skills supporting individuals, children, youth, and families through life’s challenges and transitions. I approach therapy from a collaborative, compassionate, and client-centred perspective, recognizing that no two people experience the world in the same way. Because every story is unique, I believe therapy should be personalized to reflect your individual needs, values, strengths, and goals.

Being a queer identifying therapist myself, I understand the importance of meeting people where they are at and supporting them on their journey, which is part of why I am so passionate about providing an inclusive space for folks from all walks of life.

My approach to therapy is person-centered and eclectic, using evidenced-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), and Brainspotting. I work alongside folks to deepen self-understanding, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and foster lasting growth. I strive to provide care that is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and affirming of diverse identities and lived experiences.

Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, navigating a major life transition, or simply seeking a space for reflection and support, I am committed to walking alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and respect. Together, we can build on your strengths and create a path forward that feels authentic and meaningful to you.

  • When I’m not in the therapy room, I’m usually trying to convince myself that one more pilates class or yoga session is a good idea (it always is, eventually). Movement has become one of my favourite ways to recharge and stay grounded.

Whenever possible, I can be found at my family's waterfront property, soaking up the peacefulness that comes with being near the water. Whether it’s a quiet morning coffee, time spent outdoors, or simply enjoying the view, it’s one of my favourite places to reset.

My parents and I own "pug brothers", mine being named Frank, whose big personality and endless charm keep things interesting. Like most pugs, they have plenty of opinions, a healthy appreciation for snacks (which, same), and a talent for making himself the centre of attention. Don't be scared to ask to see a picture of the pugs because I am always beyond eager to share!

At any given point, I value connection, silly-goofy moments, authenticity, and creating space for both growth and rest. Those same values guide the way I show up in my work, helping me create a space where clients feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely seen.

My practice is grounded in creating a supportive, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. As a Portuguese-Yugoslavian Canadian raised in an immigrant family, I bring both personal and professional insight into the diverse experiences and perspectives that shape our lives. Growing up in a religious family has also given me a unique understanding of the complexities of faith, spirituality, religious trauma, and the role religion can play in a person’s identity and well-being. I welcome conversations around these topics and strive to support clients in exploring them in ways that feel meaningful and authentic.

My therapeutic approach is dynamic, which means that it is based on several evidence-based modalities including Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy.
